Air Tank Runtime Calculator: How Long Will Your Tank Last?
Enter your tank size, the pressure range you run, and how much air your tool draws. We'll estimate how long the tank delivers air before the pump has to kick back in, useful for working out if a smaller, quieter compressor can keep up.
Tank runtime
This is the air stored in the tank between your max and minimum pressure. In practice the pump runs alongside the tool, so a compressor whose CFM output is close to your tool's draw will keep going indefinitely; this figure matters most when your tool out-draws the pump.
